Based in New Zealand, Sean exhibits and records both locally and internationally ... Sean says:

In 2005 my sister Jane and I held a combined exhibition "Rivalry" at Square Edge and during the preparations for the exhibition, I mentioned to Bridget, the curator, that I also made music. Bridget took a listen to my album Death Valley, then played it during the opening. I don't know if any of the other visitors really noticed - it was at pretty low volume, but I was aware of it and it got me thinking about the way that music and visual art can complement each other. From there many of my artworks have prompted me to work with sounds, and my music has had me imagining pictures to go with it.
